Angelia Dixon is the new Chief Executive Officer at Andrew Kerr Care. Angelia brings over 20 years’ experience in the not for profit and health sectors in senior executive positions, and more than ten years’ experience as a Board Director in the not for profit disability sector. Most recently, Angelia held an interim role at Crime Stoppers Victoria and was accountable for reviewing the organisational structure and capabilities and providing advice to the Board of Directors on current marketing strategies, brand and new opportunities. Prior to this, she led the Pancare Foundation, a small not for profit aimed to increase survival from pancreatic, liver, stomach, oesophageal and biliary cancers and to support people affected by these cancers. She implemented the strategic plan, was responsible for governance, fundraising, risk management, communication and marketing, staff and finances. In this capacity, Angelia successfully increased revenue whilst building a new team; implemented the new structure; and initiated a funding partnership with Cancer Council NSW.

Prior to this Angelia was employed at Ambulance Victoria and sat on the Executive committee responsible for the development of annual and strategic plans. She held accountability for enterprise risk and clinical governance and had oversight of Ambulance Victoria’s accreditation. Angelia was able to achieve full accreditation, improved the risk management framework, and a government funding grant for the implementation of clot busting drugs (PHT) in rural Victoria. Earlier in her career she held leadership positions at Peter MacCallum, managing the operations of eight departments and led the organisation wide strategic plan refresh and budget/resource allocation. Angelia holds a Master of Business Administration from Swinburne University of Technology.
