Brenda Holt is the new Principal at St Hilda’s College

Brenda Holt is the new Principal at St Hilda’s College. Brenda has been an educational professional for over 25 years across secondary and tertiary institutions with her previous position being the Deputy Director, Program Development and Innovation at Monash College since 2016. Brenda has achieved success in the development, implementation and delivery of global, foundation programs across a diverse range of international sites. Prior to Brenda’s Monash College appointment she was the Dean of Studies at Queen’s College from 2014-2016. Brenda’s responsibilities in this role consisted of overseeing all academic programs, academic staff, Development and Alumni, Library and IT. Brenda began her career as an English teacher, moving into Higher Education 24 years ago where she has worked as an academic advisor, counsellor, teacher, Head of Whitley College (2001–2005), researcher, and as Chief of Staff and Head of Education Strategy at Trinity College (2008–2014). Brenda’s academic work has been focused around access and equity in higher education.
