Dr Nicolene Murdoch is the new Chief Executive Officer at Western Sydney University, The College. In her previous role as VP Student Administration, she oversaw the centralised shared services hub for Torrens University Australia, THINK Education Group, Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School and Media Design School in New Zealand. These entities spanning across faculties have approximately 15,000 students with over 200 course offerings. Prior to this role, Nicolene was the Program Director for a global Laureate project, responsible for a new student information system and customer relationship management system.  She also led an update of the digital experience of Laureate students across the network, expanding these integrated systems globally across the group and retaining a key focus on the student lifecycle, a seamless user experience and a quality learning experience.

Nicolene is a former Chief Operating Officer at Monash South Africa and before this she had a multitude of other executive positions with Monash which covered areas such as strategic planning, quality assurance and accreditation, teaching and learning, operations and student administration.
