Georgie Dwyer is the successful candidate for the Executive Director, People and Culture role at Berry Street

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Georgie will lead Berry Street’s strategic human resources function, partnering with the organisation’s leaders to champion its culture and values in delivering high quality services and support to children, young people and families.

Georgie has experience in strategic and operational human resources across a range of high performance, risk-aware cultures in Australia and Asia.  An innovative HR Leader, Georgie has experience transforming organisations to achieve organisational outcomes and positive cultural change that inspire, engage and align people at all levels across complex service delivery environments. 

Prior to this appointment Georgie was the Head of People and Culture at Victoria Legal Aid between 2016 and 2019. In her earlier career she held positions as Associate Director, People & Culture at Maddocks, General Manager People & Culture at Medibank and in various senior HR roles at King & Wood Mallesons.  Georgie obtained her Master of Business Leadership from RMIT, her LLB from La Trobe University and her BA (Hons) from the University of Melbourne.
