Hilary Faulds is the new Executive Director, People and Workforce Strategy at the University of the South Pacific

The University of the South Pacific (USP) has appointed Hilary Faulds to the position of Executive Director, People and Workforce Strategy.  USP is a dual sector university and one of only three regional universities of its kind internationally, uniquely governed by 12 member countries.  Reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor, Hilary will drive the development and implementation of HR strategies to support and enable the achievement of the University’s aspirations and priorities.

With effective strategic and operational leadership, development and management skills, Hilary Faulds brings experience across the higher education, government and not for profit sectors, plus an earlier career in complex, corporate organisations, including 15 years at Coca-Cola Amatil.  Most recently, Hilary consulted to Queensland Fire and Emergency services, an organisation with around 4,200 firefighters and 92,000 volunteers across the State Emergency Services and Rural Fire Services.  She has also held the Manager, People and Culture role for the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and spent eight years at the University of South Australia in senior industrial relations and human resources positions, including the delivery of a significant service improvement project, aligning support staff to academic requirements for future growth.
