Leandra Turner is the new Deputy Principal, Head of Senior School for Firbank Grammar School

Leandra Turner is the new Deputy Principal, Head of Senior School for Firbank Grammar School, where she will ensure the effective and efficient day-to-day operation of the Senior School, providing both strategic and operational leadership along with being responsible for the establishment and nurturing of a learning and performance culture in a protected, stimulating and dynamic environment.

Leandra is a collaborative, integrative and dynamic educator who fosters a positive sense of belonging. Since 2015 Leandra held the position of Head of Senior School with Caulfield Grammar School (Caulfield Campus), where she provided leadership to the Learning Area Leader and Heads of House teams, with 22 direct reports. Before this Leandra held the position of Senior Head of House, based at the Wheeler’s Hill Campus. On a number of occasions Leandra acted as Deputy Head of Campus and Head of Senior School. As Acting Head of Senior School, Leandra was a member of the Campus Leadership Team and was actively involved in the Master Planning process, as well as policy development and curriculum. Other key achievements for Leandra were the implementation of a Staff and Senior Student Well-Being Program and the launch of the school’s Positive Relationships Pastoral Team Project.
