Melanie Saba is the new Chief Executive Officer at the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators

Melanie Saba is the new Chief Executive Officer at the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA). With a successful career across both the health and education sectors, Melanie brings almost a decade of CEO experience, most recently with the Victorian Institute of Teaching. She has contributed to the development of policy at both national and state levels, in roles with organisations such as the Council of Psychology Registration Boards of Australasia and the Australasian Teacher Regulatory Authorities; including policies around the registration of professions, accreditation of higher education programs and recognition of professions at specialist level. Melanie has also held senior roles in nursing and psychology regulation and with major hospitals in Queensland and Victoria and across both the government and private sector. She has been a Director of the Australian Institute of Teaching and School Leadership since 2013.
