Mr Phillip Tascone has been appointed as Director of Human Resources with Trinity Grammar School

An educator with 30 years of teaching experience Phillip has gained significant HR experience as a HR Manager and former Deputy Principal, demonstrating success in education management, leadership development and staff learning.  Phillip has held senior leadership positions in schools covering curriculum leadership, learning management systems implementation, administration, staffing and human resources. 

Since August 2018 Phillip had held the position of Human Resources Manager with Strathcona Baptist Girls Grammar School where he was responsible for the administration of all HR functions within the School. Key achievements for Phillip in this role include completing a complete review, reorganisation and consolidation of recruitment and onboarding procedures and protocols, all electronic staff records and record keeping protocols, producing significant improvements in data integrity and integration across multiple platforms.  Phillip designed and implemented a competency focussed and evidence based reflective practice model for all academic and administrative services staff.  Additionally, he acted as the Principal’s representative during the EBA negotiation process, revising and updating associated policies and managing the submission and ratification process with FWA. 

Previously as the  Deputy Principal of Ave Maria College, Phillip worked closely with the Principal and the Executive Leadership Team, with responsibility to ensure outstanding leadership and management practices were fostered, modelled and grown in the establishment of a learning and performance culture at the College. Phillip also led and managed the Teaching and Learning Program and oversaw College operations, teaching allotments and timetable construction. Prior to this Phillip worked for Genazzano FCJ College for eleven years, progressing from working as the Curriculum Leader for Mathematics (Prep to Year 12) to Director of Organisation to his final appointment as Director of Staffing and Human Resources.  In this position Phillip was responsible for teacher allotment management, timetabling, daily operations, staff on-boarding and exiting and performance management procedures.
