Philip Fung is the new Executive Director of International Education, Markets and Growth with the University of Southern Queensland

Philip Fung is the new Executive Director of International Education, Markets and Growth with the University of Southern Queensland. He was previously responsible for driving, developing and implementing a strategic international engagement, marketing and sales plan for Laureate Australia and New Zealand, in which he played a pivotal role in leading and delivering international sales targets while establishing new global partnerships for Laureate International Universities.

Prior to this, Philip led and managed both international and domestic business development units for TAFE Queensland and the Department of Education and Training (Queensland Government) for 10 years. Philip was responsible for developing and maintaining the international sales and recruitment unit for the Greater China region.  His portfolio also included aid and development; global industry business development and partnerships; and student exchange and outbound mobility units with stakeholders in targeted markets, including mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. Philip is also a Committee Member, Queensland Education Industry Working Group of the Australia China Business Council, and Immediate Past President of the Hong Kong Australia Business Association.
