Ms Catherine Wolthuizen has been appointed to the position of Ombudsman with EWOV

The Energy and Water Ombudsman Victoria (EWOV) welcomes the appointment of Catherine Wolthuizen as the incoming Ombudsman.

Catherine brings a wealth of experience to the organisation having held leadership positions across utilities, financial services and professional services in Australia and the UK, with a particular focus on dispute resolution and fair outcomes in regulated markets.

Catherine most recently held the role of Customer Advocate at NAB, working in a senior role with the Board and Executive Team of one of Australia’s largest organisations. She previously held the position of Ombudsman at the UK Financial Ombudsman Service for seven years.

Catherine has held Chief Executive Officer roles at international human rights NGO Fair Trials, the UK’s whistleblowing NGO, as well as the Consumer Law Centre Victoria. She is currently a Board Member for the Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner and a Member of the Consultative Panel for the Australian Securities & Investments Commission.
