David Coltman is the new Chief Executive Officer at TAFE SA

David Coltman is the new Chief Executive Officer at TAFE SA, an important reforming leadership role that will ensure the provision of high-quality training services that meets the needs of industry, while maintaining high levels of student and employer satisfaction.

With over 20 years’ senior management and leadership in the vocational education sector, David has led significant organisational transformation projects.  Most recently as Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Pathways and Vocational Education at Swinburne University of Technology, David achieved significant growth in enrolments to vocational and pathways programs, in addition to increased non-government funding, staff engagement levels and student outcomes.  David previously held the role of Executive Director of Service at Holmesglen and Executive Director, Student and Community Engagement at Unitec, New Zealand.
