Dorothy Tselios has been appointed as the Director of Human Resources with Melbourne Grammar School

Over the last 15 years Dorothy has gained considerable experience as an HR leader and change facilitator within the Independent School sector, underpinned by her prior experience working in a large multi-national organisation.

In her current role as the Human Resources Director with Carey Baptist Grammar School she has helped shape the school’s thinking about its key resource, its people, and has led the development and implementation of the school’s Human Resources strategy and Employee Value Proposition. A member of the School Leadership Team, Dorothy’s responsibilities include delivering HR plans to underpin the School’s strategic intentions and business plan, managing industrial relations including Enterprise Agreement negotiations, developing and managing professional learning programs which support, affirm and grow staff capacity across the School.

Prior to joining Carey, Dorothy held a number of positions with Shell Australia. As the Senior HR Leader, Dorothy worked across the Oceania region as a member of the Commercial, Retail and Corporate functions.
