Ellen Flint is the new Executive Director, People and Culture at Melbourne Health

Ellen Flint is the new Executive Director, People and Culture at Melbourne Health. Ellen is an experienced senior Human Resources executive having worked for over 20 years in Human Resources, Organisational Development and Industrial Relations. Prior to her appointment at Melbourne Health, Ellen held the position of General Manager People, Development and Diversity at Benetas. With direct responsibility for 25 FTE and over 400 volunteers Ellen had operational responsibility for Human Resources, Volunteers, Pastoral Care and The Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing. Ellen contributed significantly towards the successful achievement of the organisation’s last two Strategic Plans, in addition to contributing to Board governance matters and working as part of the Executive Team on broad and complex projects. Prior to Benetas, Ellen was employed at Aitken Walker & Strachan where she worked with the leadership group to deliver cultural change in the organisation, as well as introducing HR systems and processes. During this period Ellen provided consulting services through a social enterprise she established, See-Change Pty Ltd, and also completed writing a book. Previously Ellen spent over eight years at Fairfax, where she had held various senior roles, including HR Director for The Australian Financial Review.
