Fiona Adamson has recently been appointed to the position of Chief Metropolitan Surface Transport at the Department of Transport Victoria. In this role, she manages every single journey made by cars, trucks, buses, trams and bikes in metropolitan Melbourne.

Fiona is an accomplished leader offering proven technical expertise in the private sector roles she has held previously at Foxtel, Ansett Airlines and ANZ. In 2017 she led the customer experience function at PTV and then moved into an operational coordination leadership role at Transport for Victoria. Most recently, Fiona held acting capacities at the Department of Transport.Fiona has a strong history in developing professional business relationships and managing difficult commercial interactions, building credibility and trust.
