James Goodwin, the new Chief Executive Officer of Australian Airports Association

Lead an Association with significant national economic and social impact

James Goodwin has recently been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Australian Airports Association (AAA). In the role, James will be the public figure representing the AAA. He will provide leadership on all elements of the association including implementing the strategic plan, governance, financial management, events, industry development, policy, research, and fostering stronger partnerships with members and stakeholders.

James brings significant knowledge of the transport and infrastructure space through his work in the sector over the past decade. In his most recent role as the Chief Executive of ANCAP Safety, James worked closely with governments, industry and member organisations to deliver on shared goals. Prior to this he held senior positions working across media, government and community relations including at Airservices Australia and peak industry bodies, the Australian Automobile Association and Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries.
