Linda Christesen is the new Policy Manager at Murray Irrigation

Linda Christesen is the new Policy Manager at Murray Irrigation, where she will research, develop and provide advice on water policy issues facing the organisation and landholders, whilst also developing relationships with key stakeholder groups and individuals.

With the Victorian Public Service for nearly 12 years, Linda has held senior policy roles at the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning with a strong focus on water policy and most recently on secondment to the Victorian Fisheries Authority.  In 2014 she received an Honourable Mention in the Secretary’s Awards for her work on the Murray-Darling Basin reform negotiations.  Linda also brings a strong research background and has delivered lectures and tutorials at RMIT and Monash University.
