Mr. David English has been the successful candidate for the Chief Information Officer position with Peninsula Health

David is a senior technology executive experienced in delivering business and digital transformations, leveraging skills in business engagement, risk management and organisational change.

David has a strong history of working within public sector environments. Most recently David has held the position of Director Business Engagement with the Department of Transport (Vic). Before this, David completed a secondment with the Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) as Acting CIO. Earlier with the Department of Transport (Vic) David held the position of CIO from its creation through to the merger with Public Transport Victoria and VicRoads.

Earlier in his career David held positions as Director, Information Technology – Transport for Victoria and Director, Business Engagement – Corporate and Transport with the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR).
