Mr. John Fogarty has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer with Royal Freemasons

Mr. John Fogarty has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer with Royal Freemasons and commenced on 16 May 2022. In this position John will drive the strategic direction, vision and growth of the organisation and foster strategic stakeholder relationships.

John is a highly accomplished senior executive with over 30 years’ experience in the health, aged care and community care sectors. For the past four years he has provided high level consulting to a range of aged care and health care organisations and was previously with St John of God Health Care in Western Australia (WA) as Executive Director of Perth Southern Hospitals and as Executive Director (COO) of WA Hospitals where he held strategic accountability for a portfolio of seven hospitals in the state with turnover of $1.2B. Before this, for four years he served as CEO for St John of God Murdoch Hospital and earlier in his career, John was COO of Mercy Health Australia (Vic, NSW, ACT) and CEO of St John of God Hospital Ballarat.

A nurse by background, John has completed a Master of Business Administration and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
