The Royal Melbourne Hospital is committed to the redevelopment of the hospital at Parkville’s Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, as well as an additional site for The Royal Melbourne and Royal Women’s Hospitals at the new Arden site in North Melbourne. In his newly appointed position, Robert will support this outcome and will be responsible for leading all governance, strategy, planning and project implementation required for the successful delivery of the RMH redevelopments. Robert presents with diverse experience as a healthcare executive, combining strong knowledge of hospital operations and capital projects in health service strategy, service planning and development, master planning, and infrastructure delivery. Since 2014 Robert has been engaged with Western Health in a series of more senior leadership roles, with his most recent position being that of Project Director for the new Footscray and Melton Hospitals.

His previously held positions with Western Health included Director, New Footscray Hospital Project and Director, Service Planning and Development. Earlier, he held policy positions with the Victorian government.

“This is the first time that I have been involved with Fisher Leadership and I found it to be a great experience. Liz Jones provided professional advice from the beginning, and I found her to be supportive throughout the process. I was always kept up to date with progress and was provided with all the information I needed. I would recommend Liz and the Fisher Leadership team and look forward to the opportunity to work with them in the future.”
