Mr Scott Downward has been appointed to the Principal of Moama Anglican Grammar
Mr Scott Downward has been appointed to the Principal of Moama Anglican Grammar, starting January 2023, succeeding Ms Carmel Spry.
Reporting to the Board, Mr Downward will be responsible for the overall management of the school operations including the education and welfare of students, supervision and professional development of staff and the successful delivery of the strategic plan.
Mr Downward is an experienced school leader who has led complex educational programs and change initiatives across multiple contexts. Driven by values and purpose, Scott is people-first in his approach.
Mr Downward will actively work to promote the values of the school and enhance its standing and reputation in the community and will manage the school to achieve the goals agreed and endorsed by the Board reflecting the schools’ values and ethos.
