Ms. Donna Davies has been appointed as the inaugural Head of Student Wellbeing, Glen Waverley campus at Wesley College
Prior to her appointment at Wesley College, Donna was the Wellbeing Coordinator at the Glendalough (P – 6) campus of St Kevin’s College. Before this position, she was Vice Principal of Janet Clarke Hall, a residential college at the University of Melbourne. Prior to this, Donna taught for 11 years at MLC, where she was Senior School Curriculum Coordinator, Head of House and Head of Physical Education. She has also taught at several independent schools in the United Kingdom.
Donna is currently completing a Doctor of Education at the University of Melbourne and holds a Master of Applied Science and Bachelor of Applied Science from RMIT. She is the author of the International Baccalaureate Sports Science Curriculum, Victorian Health and Physical Education text books and a VCCA Digital Assessment platform. Donna is that rare educator who brings an understanding of primary, secondary and tertiary education. She will bring a comprehensive understanding of residential programs and, in all her roles, she has developed a deep understanding of the importance of wellbeing and how it intersects with learning.
