Ms. Jane Canaway has been appointed as Chief Operations Officer with DPV Health

Commencing as a Registered Nurse in the late 1980s, Jane brings 30 years of experience working in executive and leadership roles that have involved strategic planning across a range of program areas including community mental health, homelessness, allied health services, children and family services and clinical services including GPs and public dental.

Since early this year Jane has managed a small team at Health Issues Centre to build the training and consultancy arm of this not-for-profit health advocacy service.

Before this Jane operated in her own business as an independent consultant with her work targeted at service model development, clinical quality and risk management, evaluation and service improvement.  Jane’s clients included health and education departments at all levels of government, health services and mental health organisations.

Earlier in her career, Jane held positions with Cohealth as Executive Director Child, Youth, Family, Aged and Programs (Acting) and Executive Director Clinical Services and Quality.
