Ms. Samira (Sam) Richards has been appointed to the position of Executive Director People & Culture with Ambulance Victoria

Ms. Samira (Sam) Richards has been appointed to the position of Executive Director People & Culture with Ambulance Victoria and commenced in April 2023. In this position, Sam will lead the strategic direction of the portfolio, supporting the organisation at a period of significant cultural transformation and reform.

Sam brings over 25 years of experience in management and leadership roles and has been involved in major organisational change initiatives in her previous positions. With her strategic mindset and strong relationship management skills, she is keenly focused on future proofing the business and is a firm believer that the role of People and Culture is to drive organisational performance today and create capacity and capability for greater performance tomorrow.

Sam’s was previously General Manager, People, Culture and Diversity with Benetas, and before that, various roles with Monash University including Director, Recruitment and HR Business Partnering, Director, HR Business Partnering, Lead HR Business Partner and Manager, HR Advisory Services.
