Ms. Vicki Mau has been appointed to the position of Director of Australian Programs with Australian Red Cross

Ms. Vicki Mau has been appointed to the position of Director of Australian Programs with Australian Red Cross and commenced on 1 June 2022. In this position, Vicki will be responsible for translating the organisation’s strategy into impact, through nationwide programming that address core areas of humanitarian need, supporting resilient communities, and working with partners, clients and communities to address key systemic drivers of disadvantage at the local, national and global level.

Vicki is an executive leader experienced in delivering complex programming and sustainable outcomes in diverse contexts. She has implemented strong outcomes and ensures programs are impactful and relevant through change and the partnerships she’s built across the sector. Vicki is a committed humanitarian, passionate about learning, amplifying and supporting lived experience and expertise, building partnerships and extending opportunities to program and influence locally and globally.

Vicki previously held roles with the Australian Red Cross as Head – Migration, and before joining Australian Red Cross in 2012, Vicki worked in Australia and overseas for a range of local, international and Australian organisations in the development and humanitarian sectors, largely in the Middle East and Africa.
