The Chair will lead a highly experienced board to set the strategic direction for the organisation and ensure it achieves its mission of delivering excellence in training to help shape the future of the aviation industry.
This exciting role would suit someone with experience in the aviation and aerospace industries and knowledge of the industry trends which impact on the demand for skills. The successful applicant will possess strong commercial acumen, strategic vision and have the drive to make an exceptional contribution to the successful positioning of Aviation Australia.
Suitably skilled and experienced candidates from regional areas, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, women, people with expertise in multiculturalism and young people, and people with disabilities are also encouraged to apply.
Completion of the Australian Institute of Company Directors course is desired but not mandatory.
The position will be remunerated in accordance with Queensland Government guidelines.
