The Position

Our client seeks expressions of interest from Board Directors who are motivated by supporting and empowering people with a disability to live the life they want.

The Board comprises seven Directors, including the Chair and there is the opportunity to participate on sub-committees for Finance, Audit and Risk Management and Practice, Quality and Safeguards.  Following a successful period of recent rapid expansion, the Board will oversee a continued transformation and growth trajectory, supporting the Chief Executive Officer and executive team to deliver on the organisational strategy in alignment with the organisation’s vision, purpose and aspirations.

The ideal candidates will demonstrate existing governance experience and understanding, preferably in a disability, aged care or not-for-profit setting.  Previous Board experience and exposure to a service delivery and customer-oriented environment will also be essential.  Expertise in areas including finance, risk and compliance, commercial, legal, human resources, cyber security, disability practice quality, or stakeholder engagement is sought to ensure a complementary range of skills across the Board.

An AICD qualification or membership will be highly regarded.  Up to three positions are available.
