The Position
Glen Education seeks to appoint commercially astute governance and commercial experts to its skills-based Board. Bringing commercial acumen and innovative thinking in addition to skills across finance, strategy, government advocacy and education, the new Board Directors will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Glen Education.
The appointees will have strong strategic and commercial ability that enables fellow Directors and the broader stakeholder community to readily envision the future. Contemporary in thinking and in behaviour, they will be critical system thinkers who welcome diverse opinions and are prepared to continually challenge themselves and others.
Glen Education has a number of vacancies but are specifically looking for candidates with skills in Finance, Education, Governance and Risk or a combination of these areas. The Director positions are voluntary positions and not remunerated.
The Organisation
Glen Education is an Early Years Manager that delivers exceptional teaching and high-quality programs.
As a not-for-profit, early years management organisation, Glen Education’s historical foundations are grounded in the belief that our purpose is to provide exceptional management and high-quality service provision to the community. Our current offerings include kindergarten programs, holiday care, inclusion and education support, and the delivery of online seminars.
Our approach to education ensures that children and their families are motivated to learn in ways that make a sustained, substantial, and positive influence on how they think, act, and feel. Our programs consider the whole person, including their spiritual, social, emotional, mental, physical, and cognitive development. Our role is to ensure that the delivery of programs is inclusive, reflective of contemporary research and fosters a love of learning and critical thinking.
