Board Members
The Board of the National Resources Conservation League (NRCL) is actively recruiting to appoint up to three (3x) new Directors from June 2019, to complement and extend the skills and capacities of the current Board at an exciting stage in the direction of the organisation.
Currently there are four (4x) Directors on the Board including the Chair, and the Constitution allows for up to seven (7x). One Director is retiring after seven years of continued service.
The NRCL is seeking suitably qualified candidates who are concerned and committed to community engagement in environment conservation, who bring experience as, and understanding of what it means to be, a Board Director, and who offer credentials in one or more of the following priority areas:
- Natural resource management experience
- Legal skills and a passion for environmental resource management
- Property and commercial development experience
- Community engagement
The NRCL is committed to having a Board that reflects diversity of age, gender and cultural backgrounds. Regional representation is especially significant.
Currently, this voluntary Board meets monthly. A governance charter and associated policies are in place with an annual review to ensure currency and relevance (see www.nrcl.org.au)
