The Position

The NDIA is seeking a proven leader (SES Band 1) to lead an important and changing program working with a group of critical service providers in the disability market, known as partners. Achieving success in the role will involve providing strategic leadership and direction to the Branch and Division, working collaboratively across the Agency, and working closely with partner agencies to provide guidance, support and oversight for the services they deliver.

Reporting to the Group Manager – Partners, this role provides operational and functional leadership that contributes to robust contract management and successful partnerships across Australia.  The role currently has 6 direct reports and over 50 staff. The branch has been supporting a major, cross-Agency improvement program which is well into its implementation phase, and is expected to play a key support role in the implementation of future reforms following the recently released NDIS Review.

Your strong operational leadership experience, exceptional stakeholder relationship skills, and ability to develop trust and respect will enable you to continue to build internal and external capability and a high-performance culture. Experience leading change will be essential in this role, and experience managing large commercial / contractual service delivery relationships is a significant advantage.
