The Position
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Clinical and Risk Officer (CCRO) is a critical leadership position responsible for the development and deployment of Japara’s clinical governance framework and risk and innovation programs.  The CCRO will act to enable the delivery of improved residential services while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
The CCRO will establish clinical governance and risk frameworks and provide significant education and influence throughout the organisation in relation to the key requirements of clinical governance.  A vital component to embedding clinical governance and risk within the organisation will be the review of existing processes combined with development of new processes.
The successful candidate will be a strategic and inspirational leader, with outstanding stakeholder engagement skills coupled with extensive experience gained in clinical and risk management. With demonstrated experience operating within a complex environment, the ideal candidate will be recognised as a strong leader who will work to inform the organisation and develop strong governance frameworks.  The appointee will be highly credible, innovative, engaging and present with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to develop capability across the organisation is essential.  Prior experience in aged care will be well regarded
