The Position

cohealth is currently seeking to appoint a contemporary and dynamic Chief Executive to lead the delivery of best-practice, high quality health services to support some of the fastest growing communities in Melbourne. Reporting to the Board, the CE will be responsible for providing vision and values based leadership that improves the health and wellbeing for all by tackling inequality, in partnership with people and the communities they live in. The CE will have a passion for working to improve the health and wellbeing of diverse communities through high level advocacy and the provision of quality services.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a contemporary leadership style that reflects the cohealth values of courage, respect, social equity, inquiry and innovation, and trust, combined with commercial acumen and excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong and trusting alliances. Equipped with strategic business planning capabilities and strong . financial management, the appointee will demonstrate a thorough understanding of delivering high quality service transformation models, contemporary thinking and the ability to develop new business development initiatives. It is critical that the successful candidate demonstrate high levels of integrity, humility, reliability, consistency and openness.
