The Position
Royal Freemasons is seeking an experienced, strategic and innovative Chief Executive who is driven by the challenge to lead a growing and complex organisation that provides outstanding programs and services across the community.
Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive will lead, manage and build the organisation’s capability and capacity to deliver excellent, person centred, responsive and innovative services, aligned with Royal Freemasons values, ethos and commitments.  The Chief Executive will engage with the Board to drive the strategic direction, vision and growth of the organisation, and foster strategic stakeholder relationships.  Key focus areas will include improved safety and quality and financial viability to ensure sustainable operations in all business streams.  Additionally, the Chief Executive will have the capacity and communication style to bring all employees along on the journey to effect positive change.
The successful candidate will be a transformational leader, who is likely to have a strong background in human services or the broader health sector.  They will have a demonstrated track record in developing and implementing important strategic outcomes within dynamic, complex and changing business environments. The appointee will be a commercially savvy strategic thinker and have a strong values alignment with the organisation. The ideal candidate will be innovative and agile, coupled with a collaborative and empowering management style that enables the successful delivery of services within a diverse environment focussed on quality and safety.  Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly desirable.

For more than 152 years Royal Freemasons has proudly developed residential accommodation and in-home services that assist people to live secure, dignified and rewarding lives.  It is one of the oldest and most recognised aged care providers in Victoria and is focused on continuously improving services.
Royal Freemasons currently operates across three main business streams of Home
Care, Residential Aged Care and Retirement and Independent Living.  The organisation employs over 1800 people and relies on over 200 volunteers who deliver 11,800 hours per annum to support nearly 3000 older persons.  Royal Freemasons also delivers over 4000 hours each year in day therapy programs.
