The Position

The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of VITS LanguageLoop and for the development and execution of high-quality services and client outcomes, continuous improvement, innovation and resource allocation and financial sustainability in a highly competitive market.

Reporting to the Chair and working closely with the Board of Language Loop, the Chief Executive Officer will lead an exciting stage in the organisation’s evolution.  Harnessing a large workforce combined with advanced technology, this is a pivotal moment in time as the organisation is poised to make significant changes to its business model. It presents a significant opportunity for a new CEO to lead the next phase in the delivery of innovative language services.

The successful incumbent will be an inspirational and inclusive CEO who builds trust to lead the performance and wellbeing of Language Loop’s people and organisation. The successful applicant will be a values-led, and highly strategic CEO, with a capacity to lead in a dynamic, complex and challenging environment.

The CEO will drive leading-edge technical operations and spearhead innovation. The successful candidate will have exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, build internal confidence and reinforce VITS LanguageLoop’s position with government and clients across the public and private sectors, Key attributes contributing to the success of this role will include exceptional communication and influencing skills, innovation, integrity, compassion and commitment to the delivery of world class service outcomes in a public sector context.  Demonstrated financial and business acumen, negotiation skills, along with the ability to leverage the latest artificial intelligence and machine learning technology are key to success in this role.
