The Position

The Board of inTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence is seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with proven experience in complex community service delivery.  Visionary with highly effective people leadership skills, and the ability to deliver on the growth strategy, the CEO will work closely with the Board and staff to evolve and support a culture of excellence and high-quality community strengthening and impact.

As an inclusive and empowering leader, the CEO will lead strategy development and oversee and sponsor the enhancement of systems, policies and processes to further equip the organisation to extend its reach in community.  Candidates will be able to demonstrate outstanding stakeholder engagement skills and an ability to work with a wide range of partners, internally and externally. Critical to the role will be strong strategic leadership, financial management and a track record of operational improvement, as will be the ability to establish alternative funding streams to support inTouch’s continued growth.

The CEO will demonstrate a strong, clear alignment to mission, and a genuine appreciation of the full range of complex overlapping issues facing inTouch’s clients.  The CEO will also demonstrate a commitment to the values of integrity, excellence, transformation, influence, collaboration and diversity and inclusion.

 

The Organisation

InTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence are a state-wide specialist family violence service that works with women from migrant and refugee backgrounds, their families and communities in Victoria.  They provide person-centred, integrated and culturally responsive family violence services to people from migrant and refugee communities across Victoria. These include case management, legal services, perpetrator interventions, training, research and community-based projects that address the issue of family violence in the community.  InTouch works across the family violence continuum delivering services to 2,700 clients a year as well as training over 1,700 people.
