The Role

The Chief Executive Officer will lead a dynamic and dedicated team, reporting to an engaged and experienced board. In this role, the CEO will drive strategic growth while advocating for the rights of children and families navigating international border challenges. You will expand and enhance the range of services offered to meet the diverse needs of these communities.

The ideal candidate will have a successful CEO track record, and expertise engaging with state and federal governments. Experience in securing funding from both governmental and philanthropic sources is critically important. Your ability to combine commercial acumen with innovative thinking and inspiring leadership will be pivotal to achieving success.

As a highly self-aware and empathetic leader, your exceptional interpersonal skills will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative culture. You will build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and be known for your integrity and commitment to delivering results in a governance-focused environment.

ISS Australia is an independent Australian member of the global International Social Service Network of 130 member countries.  ISS assists children and families confronted with complex social problems as a result of migration and international borders.  ISS services include social work, legal assistance, counselling and support to families who are in distress.
