The Position
Bendigo Health is seeking to appoint a highly talented and outstanding Chief Executive Officer to continue to build and deliver a world class health service which is consumer and patient focused across Bendigo and the broader region.
Reporting to the Board, the CEO will be responsible for leading a large and professional organisation whilst developing and shaping the strategic plans. Managing rapid and dynamic growth, identifying and leveraging future opportunities, coupled with managing patient-centred care and community requirements are also key responsibilities. The position will be required to continue to cultivate relationships with other health agencies and education partners in the region to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
The appointee will be a strategic thinker with a contemporary leadership style which is focused on building organisational capability coupled with commercial acumen, superior communication, advocacy and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to engage with relevant stakeholders, combined with fostering a collaborative and high performing organisational culture. Equipped with well-developed financial management and strategic business planning capabilities, the appointee will also possess a thorough understanding of delivering high quality health services. A commitment to continuous operational improvement and the ability to capitalise on business development initiatives are essential. Appropriate tertiary qualifications are required.
