The Position
This exciting role champions and delivers on the organisation’s clear mandate to provide accessible, relevant and supportive information and connectedness for deaf and hard of hearing children and youth across Australia and their families.
Deaf Children Australia is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to make their mark on this well-respected organisation that plays a vital role with the deaf and hard of hearing community. Reporting to the Board Chair, the appointee will have exceptional stakeholder engagement and networking skills to work with diverse communities and government. Agility, openness to new possibilities and close teamwork will drive success in this role.
The CEO will have an understanding of current disability policy and services, coupled with an ability to provide strategic direction, strong leadership and communication.
The ideal candidate will actively embody the organisation’s guiding mission and be an accomplished and nurturing leader with executive acumen. The successful candidate
will be knowledgeable around current challenges in disability services and be committed to proactively supporting the deaf community.
