This is an exciting time to be joining Moreland City Council with its ambitious agenda along with a robust ­ financial position and high levels of good governance. Community connection, progressive urban design and development and civic engagement are hallmarks of this thriving Council.
Reporting to the Mayor and elected Councillors, the CEO will lead an organisation of over 1000 staff continuing to evolve, meeting the needs of local community and stakeholders. The City is investing $750million in community and economic development to be delivered over the next four years, with initiatives and projects underway or part of future strategic directions.
The incoming CEO will lead an existing high performing executive team and be genuinely collaborative with a track record in positive organisational development and commitment to sustainable community outcomes. As a leader who is both innovative and results-focused, you will thrive under complexity and ambiguity. You will have the ability to build effective networks and relationships that are critical to success. Previous achievement in local government or community service environments is highly desirable.
