Children First Foundation (CFF) is seeking an outstanding leader as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to build on its success and outstanding reputation in facilitating life-changing, and at times, life-saving surgery for children from developing countries that do not have the necessary resources.
CFF is seeking a CEO to partner with the Chair, Board and staff, and support the development of the organisation’s next strategic plan that will shape its future impact. The CEO will offer skilled leadership, strategic and administrative flair, but more importantly, passionate belief in the Mission of Children First Foundation. Providing a contagious passion and drive, the CEO will identify opportunities which will enhance and contribute to overall objectives and continue raising the profile and reach of the organisation.
As key spokesperson, the CEO will maintain a strong public profile and further strengthen relationships with health and government partners, major donors, community organisations, corporates, and other stakeholders. You will be an influential leader, “hands-on”, skilled in cultivating relationships, strategy and driving key engagement and development programs. With a confidence to positively represent CFF throughout Australia, the successful candidate will also possess commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit that facilitates partnership and growth. A practical understanding of philanthropy and fundraising is pivotal to this role, and knowledge of the not-for-profit, community development, medical, health or related sectors will be considered advantageous.

Children First’s Miracle sMiles Program facilitates life-changing surgery for children from developing countries. CFF works in collaboration with exceptional surgeons, health professionals and hospitals who provide this first-class treatment and allied health therapy and care.
The Foundation’s support office is based in North Melbourne. The Children First Foundation Retreat, a 42-acre property located at Kilmore East, provides a peaceful, nurturing, and therapeutic backdrop for the children’s 24/7 holistic care.
