Driving large scale sustainable development of the City of Brimbank requires a values-aligned leader who will bring energy and focus to Council’s strategic pillars. Capitalising on current major investment initiatives, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will ensure continued quality service delivery to a diverse community as well as effective advocacy across all levels of government and with critical stakeholders.
Working under the guidance of vibrant and progressive Councillors, the CEO leads an executive management team responsible for delivering on the vision for Brimbank as a great place to live, work and grow. The CEO will embed a culture of community at the forefront, highly engaged staff and robust governance that supports effectual innovation.
The successful appointee will demonstrate a track record of leading community related complex service delivery in the public, not for profit or private sectors. With a clear vision and strength in advocacy, authentic community connection and superior commercial acumen; the ideal candidate will bring a proven reputation of developing partnerships and digital know how. Key to success will be a leadership style that is down to earth and driven to achieving timely outcomes. Appropriate tertiary qualifications are expected.
