The Position
Royal Freemasons seeks to appoint an experienced, strategic and innovative Chief Executive Officer who is driven by challenge to lead the organisation into its next phase of development. As the organisation reimagines and optimises aged care service offerings, it seeks a contemporary leader to ensure ongoing provision of outstanding programs and services across the community.
Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive Officer will lead, manage and build the organisation’s capability and capacity to deliver excellent, relationship-based, responsive and innovative services, aligned with Royal Freemasons values, ethos and commitments. The Chief Executive Officer will engage with the Board to drive the strategic direction, vision and growth of the organisation, and foster strategic stakeholder relationships.
The successful candidate will be a transformational leader, who is likely to have a strong background in human services or the broader health sector. They will have a demonstrated track record in developing and implementing important strategic outcomes within large, complex and changing business environments. The appointee will be a commercially savvy strategic thinker and have a strong values alignment with the organisation.  They will possess strong financial acumen and experience in leading transformational change that balances strong financial outcomes to ensure we can provide exceptional customer outcomes.  An exceedingly strong communicator, they will also be innovative and agile and possess a collaborative and empowering management style that enables the successful delivery of services within a diverse environment focussed on quality and safety. Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly desirable.

For more than 154 years Royal Freemasons has proudly developed residential accommodation and in-home services that assist people to live secure, dignified and rewarding lives. It is one of the oldest and most recognised aged care providers in Victoria and is focused on continuously improving services. With this rich heritage, Royal Freemasons currently operates across three main business streams of Home Care, Residential Aged Care and Retirement and Independent Living, employing over 2,000 people and relying on over 200 volunteers.
