Australian owned global education provider, Navitas, seeks an outstanding individual to provide strategic executive leadership in the day-to-day management, business development and stakeholder engagement of its Australian School of Applied Management (ASAM).
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Human Services, Business and Technology – and leading an executive team of four direct reports – the ASAM Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will identify, generate and execute opportunities that will diversify and grow the business, ensure delivery of high quality leadership and management training and development, and strengthen the profile and reach of ASAM and its specialist brands, including Women & Leadership Australia (WLA) and the National Excellence in School Leadership Institute (NESLI).
With appropriate tertiary qualifications, ideally at graduate level, the ideal candidate will bring a strong and proven record in transformative leadership, with a depth of experience and expertise in driving growth and creating opportunity and sustainability.  Outstanding communication skills are essential, with the ability to engage key stakeholders across both public and private sectors, gathering sector intelligence and creating opportunities for partnership and development.  With strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills, the successful candidate will provide inspirational leadership, ensuring a successful and inclusive organisation culture that is motivated to deliver on the organisation’s strategy.  Experience in the education and training sector and established networks in industry, community and government are highly desirable.
The position is based in Melbourne and an attractive salary package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
