The Position
The Chief Financial Officer is a key executive position at Bendigo Health and is responsible for the management and leadership of the Finance and Resources teams.  Reporting to, and as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, the CFO will be responsible for all financial aspects of Bendigo Health’s business operations and provide strategic and operational leadership across the portfolio.  In addition, the CFO will lead and have oversight of Health Information Services, Procurement, Materials Management and Facilities Management.  Partnering with key stakeholders across the service, the CFO will also have financial oversight of significant infrastructure projects that includes new builds and redevelopment and covid response procurement and supply. The CFO will be a key liaison with the Board and will also represent Bendigo Health at the departmental level.
The successful incumbent will be an accomplished CFO/Corporate services executive with a broad and in-depth financial background, strong change management and project management skills. A strong understanding of good governance frameworks and experience leading across corporate services functions will be essential for this role.
