The Position
The prominent and evolving Australian Red Cross, seeks to appoint a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in a newly created role to support the organisation as they embark on a significant journey of reimagination.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, and working with the Finance Director and an established team, the CFO will play a crucial role in supporting the long-term vision, values and purpose of the organisation to enhance sustainable organisational success. The CFO will critically assess business strategy and goals against financial trends, new and emerging risks, and capability.
The ideal candidate for the role will be a values based, empathetic and adaptive leader who has demonstrated experience working in a large complex organisation, ideally through a period of significant transformation. Possessing exceptional diagnostic skills, high emotional intelligence and exceptional communication skills, you will bring a record of fostering learning and knowledge transfer across a business resulting in skills and professional development. While experience gained in a not for profit environment is not essential, your experience working in diverse cultural environments will be considered favourably.
