The Position

At a time when a new CEO has commenced and is reinvigorating the organisation to meet the future, this COO role has been created role to enable Baptcare’s long term sustainability through the development and implementation of strategies to ensure seamless and agile operational service delivery to the community.

Reporting to the CEO the COO oversees services across multiple states, supporting a focus of continuous improvement of a world class operational service experience and safety-first culture via the nurturing of a high-performance philosophy across all teams.  As a member of the executive leadership team the COO will offer leadership into the design, delivery and activation of requirements to support and deliver care across our broad portfolio of operations.

Supporting four leaders who manage Residential Aged Care, Community Care, Independent Living and Clinical Care, the successful incumbent will be an experienced, strategic executive who is inspirational, inclusive, collaborative and driven by the Baptcare mission and client offer. The scope for impact in this role is significant and will require a leader who is experienced working at an enterprise level and translating and clarifying strategic vision.   Previous success driving organisational transformational change through the positive engagement of cross-functional teams, enhancing quality risk and governance is desired.

Qualifications in health, public health or allied health alongside senior leadership experience are required.
