Lead RACS into the Future
The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), formed in 1927, is a non-profit organisation leading surgical performance, professionalism and improving patient care in Australia and New Zealand. With the appointment of a new CEO in October 2017, RACS has committed to create a modern, relevant and forward looking organisation. We’ve created a new executive leadership team, who will lead the College through a positive transformation to meet the future education needs and learning outcomes of its Fellows, Trainees and International Medical Graduates.
The COO will be a dynamic leader who will lead the organisation’s transformation process and ensure the efficient management of the internal operations of the College. The appointee will effectively manage business resources of the organisation including General Counsel, Building Respect project, Human Resources, Research & Audit, Complaints Resolution, IT and Finance. The COO will lead the change management process, focusing on the integration, simplification and streamlining of operational business processes, driving continuous improvement and delivering quality services.
