The Position
North Richmond Community Health is currently seeking to appoint an experienced and capable leader to oversee operations and service development across a range of medical, harm reduction, allied health, dental and community services to clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this position will lead the NRCH executive team. Responsibility will focus on the further development of integrated financially sustainable health service models which respond to community need across primary health, drug and alcohol, mental health, allied health and related services. The Chief Operating Officer will develop positive relationships with all levels of government, community and agency representatives to progress NRCH’s strategic and operational goals.
The successful candidate will be a strategic and collaborative leader with experience in managing and developing capability across a diverse range of primary health services. A demonstrated understanding of the social determinants of health, highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills and an excellent understanding of nancial and service modelling will be vital for this role. The ability to design responsive change management strategies in response to political, economic, social and technological shifts will be essential. Tertiary qualifications in health administration and/ or business are essential.
