The Position
Fed Square has the vision to be recognised internationally as a contemporary world site and Melbourne’s inspirational public space. It is seeking to appoint a value driven leader who will ensure facilities, events and functions operate seamlessly in the context of the significant heritage status of the venue.
Reporting to the CEO this position will be part of a small, close knit executive team that is committed to customer service excellence.  The role has broad and deep accountabilities across safety, corporate planning, asset & built form management, financial, compliance, risk management, legal, HR and IT management. The role has specialist direct reports and regularly interacts with the Board.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative executive who drives continuous improvement and aligns scope, schedule, quality, budget with strategic directions. Key to success in the position is excellent stakeholder engagement skills and risk management capability. An innovative mindset is required and a high level of resilience and stress tolerance.
Experience in a complex and high-profile public and /or private organisation including financial, asset, contract and lease management is expected. Relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance, property, project management or other related technical fields will be highly regarded.
