The Position

The Royal Melbourne Hospital is committed to the redevelopment of the hospital at Parkville’s Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, as well as an additional site for the Royal Melbourne and Royal Women’s Hospitals at the new Arden site in North Melbourne. To support this outcome the organisation now seeks to appoint a Chief Redevelopment Officer (CRO).

With extensive experience in strategy and healthcare systems, the successful candidate will also demonstrate experience leading significant capital, redevelopment and/or other major projects to success. Key to this position will be an ability to challenge current practices and build momentum for change while building and maintaining genuine connection and collaboration.
