The Position

The prominent and evolving Australian Red Cross, seeks to appoint a new Chief Revenue Officer to support the organisation to increase, diversify and create more sustainable revenue streams. The Chief Revenue Officer will lead and implement innovative targeted strategies, to build the profile and influence of, and engagement with, Australian Red Cross.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Chief Revenue Officer will work closely with the organisation’s expert marketing and customer engagement teams in the design and implementation of a sustainable revenue strategy. Key elements of the role include leading and implementing philanthropic strategies as well as leading government engagement and departmental stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be equipped with senior level experience in a large organisation. They will be innately growth oriented, evidencing a record of generating increased revenue and building high level relationships across business and government. Possessing some marketing knowledge, the ideal candidate will be adept at developing new partnerships, products and markets and will have knowledge of ESG and/or CSR. They will be the sort of leader who is collaborative and inspiring and who is recognised as building workplaces that excite people to do their best. Known as curious and analytical, they will be strategic while also having strong implementation skills, and will present with a strong affinity for the values of the Australian Red Cross.
